We visited Gros Morne in early July. Be prepared for very cold (below 10C) and also warm (above 22C) in a single day. Weather was beautiful, ranging from bright sunny days to cloudy windy and rainy days. We stayed in the cabin that they have on site. The cabin was very clean. It comes with a 'full kitchen', but on site is only a microwave and BBQ. The full kitchen is located near the main entrance. The cabin and surrounding areas were very clean and quiet. No noise after 10pm, so it was nice to sleep with the windows open and wake to sound of the birds and the sun.The cabin itself has a fire pit and you can watch the sun setting on Gros Morne mountain. Simply Spectacular!I would highly recommend this campground if you are visiting the park.
Place was great. Nice location. Close to a lot. Most staff very friendly.
Great campsite. Quiet and clean, with a beautiful view. Also, the staff were helpful and friendly.
A very scenic area Beautiful hills and valleys coupled with the ocean. Can't go wrong with this area. Be sure to check out Trout River as well.. awesome.
The camping ground, like almost all KOAs has all you need, is pet friendly and definetly made for families. The atmosphere is not for backcountry camping lovers but you meet some great folks.
